Moringa Matcha and Kale Smoothie

Oh how I missed green smoothies! With all this cooking I’ve been doing since the start of the year, smoothies have taken the back burner. For the past few weeks I’ve been craving green smoothies, so during my spring break I decided to make a power-packed   green smoothie. This smoothie is filled with super-foods, protein, antioxidants, vitamins, fiber and the list goes on. The benefits of Matcha and Moringa are so great that they should be a staple in everyone diets. They both provide antioxidants, boost heart health, fight inflammation, promotes immune function and so much more. I wont lie to you they both have an acquired taste if you’re not too fond of vegetal powders. But the benefits outweigh the taste and with the right amount of ripe fruit and your sweetener of choice, its palatable. You’ll never know it’s there! Check out the recipe below:

Moringa Matcha and Kale Smoothie

  • 2 cups of Organic Kale
  • 1  large ripe banana
  • 2 cup of frozen mango chunks
  • 1 clementine
  • 1/2 of the juice of a lemon
  • 1 tsp of Matcha
  • 1 tsp of Moringa powder
  • 1 cup of water or your choice of liquid
  • 1 tbsp of honey or your favorite sweetener

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend till smooth.
