Avocados are great on their own and of course on toast, but they are also great in smoothies. I prefer to use them strictly in green smoothie, only for the simple fact that I’m a visual person. I like my green smoothies to be green and my berry smoothies to be a berry color, but that’s just me. With that being said, Avocados are the perfect addition to any green smoothie. They provide the perfect thickness needed to make a smoothie filling and satiating for anytime of the day. Avocados gives the same thickness that bananas provides to a smoothies but they contain more potassium. They are also loaded with fiber, fat and antioxidants so they pretty much give bananas a run for their money. So while they are reasonably priced for Cinco de Mayo , I suggest you grab you some and make this smoothie asap. Remember an avocado a day keeps the doctor away! Check out the recipe below:
Avocado Kale Smoothie

- Organic Kale (Fresh or Frozen)
- Organic Kiwi
