No-Churn Matcha Ice Cream +Pure Synergy Giveaway

As an avid tea drinker I love matcha and how easy it is to use in recipes aside from the traditional use. I personally prefer drinking matcha the traditional way ,but smoothies are a close second. But when I got my hands on a bottle of ceremonial grade matcha, I wanted to switch things up and make a batch of No-Churn Matcha Ice cream. Continue Reading…

Every now and then I like to go back to the basics and switch things up. When I first started on this whole foods journey, oatmeal and green smoothies were a main staple for me.  Depending on the type of smoothie I was making, I had a base of a few ingredients guaranteed to make the smoothie taste great regardless of the actual Continue Reading…

Broccoli Soup with Tomato, Peppers, and Shrimp Confit

Living in South Florida we don’t really get winters, but on the random days we do: we go all out. Coats, boots, stockings, scarves, heaters and hot cocoa all come out the wood-work when the temperature drops. Keeping warm is the ultimate goal but there’s only so much hot cocoa a girl can drink.  So as of late, I’ve been making soup,  and I’ll be the first to tell you Continue Reading…

Blueberry Coconut Almond Yogurt Parfait

Last year one of my new year’s resolutions was to cook more home-cook meals and I gotta say I kept my resolution well into the new year. I cooked just about every week, twice a week, and have come to enjoy it. But this year I decided to challenge myself in an area I have never challenged myself in.  As a lacto -pescatarian, I rely heavily on dairy for a good portion of my protein.  So I decided for this year’s resolution I will go non-dairy at least three times a week minimum.

So to get a jump start on things, I’ve been looking into different alternative milk products to see Continue Reading…
